A young Palestinian girl sits in the rubble of her home.
Israel has demolished over 24,000 Palestinian homes* in the forty-plus years since the occupation of the West Bank & Gaza Strip. The overwhelming majority of these homes were destroyed because Palestinians built them without permits or through military action. However, the discriminatory policies of the Israeli government make it nearly impossible for Palestinians to obtain these permits. House demolitions are directly connected to the growth of settlements and a primary obstacle to a peaceful resolution of the Israeli/ Palestinian conflict.
Join our campaign to end the demolition of Palestinian homes!
